About Us
Gospel Evangelical Crusades and Providence Foundation NGO-Ghana (GOEVAC –PFG)
is a Non Profit making, Non-Governmental Organization which was founded by Rev. and Mrs. Kwarteng Amaning, in the year 1987. As a Christian organization which initially focused on preaching the Christian gospel of Jesus Christ, GOEVAC in the year 2005 redirected its immediate focus to its long term vision of social work, with an open membership which cut across religious groupings. This brought the addition of 'Providence Foundation NGO-Ghana to her name, thus GOEVAC-PFG. The organization presently has eight directors who form the Executive Council. It is registered with the government of Ghana and thus dully recognized by the Registrar General’s Department and the Department of Social Welfare.
OUR VISION
The core vision of the GOEVAC-PFG is to mobilize material, financial, and human resources to facilitate and assist the provision of social services to help especially the poor, disadvantaged women and children, the disabled, and humanity in general, live in peace, comfort, and dignity.
GOEVAC–PFG seeks in the near future, to establish institutions among which are;
AN ORPHANAGE: As a start to this project, the organization has voluntarily undertaking an orphan registration exercise which registered about one hundred and fifty (150) orphans for care and support. This is a prelude to our orphanage project which would take off soon as resources are gathered.
SCHOOLS: GOEVAC–PFG also believes s in providing good education not only to the orphans but also for all vulnerable children of school going age. We thus strongly cherish the dream of building schools to serve us this purpose even though resource is unavailable at present.
A HEALTH CENTERE: GOEVAC–PFG has among her future developments included, good health provision. We thus look forward to building a health center / hospital to serve the purpose with the support all those who want to help this course.
CIVIC AND POLITICAL EDUCATIONAL CENTER: This would be an educational center dedicated to the teaching and learning of issues of Human rights (international & national), Civil rights, Constitutional mandates / responsibilities. This we hope will help enlighten the citizenry to stand for their rights and help curb injustice in society.
RURAL COMPUTERIZATION: Under this programme, the organization seeks to take ICT to rural areas and less endowed schools in rural Ghana. The organization would assist the schools and communities to set up ICT centers which would be stocked with computers for the use of staff, students and the community youth. We hope to get these computers from donor agencies who share our interest. GOEVAC-PFG will also see to the effective running of these ICT Centers.
